Writing Competition

  • Bristol CND invited young people aged 12 to 18 to "Shout About Peace" in an original piece of writing - it could be poetry, prose, a comic strip, a short story, a script, a diary entry, a song, anything they chose as a way to tell the world how they feel about nuclear weapons and what should be done with them.
  • Congratulations to Hassan Sherif who won first prize for 'Letters', Megan Gillespie who won second prize for 'The Day the Man Jumped and the Day the Boy Flew' and Pearl Andrews-Horrigan who won third prize for 'Collateral Damage: A Slam Poem':
